The Fall Stampede is a virtual foot race in Tampa Bay, Florida, consisting of running and walking challenges from one to 100 miles

The annual Fall Stampede presented by Chick-fil-A is held every September to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. The event used to take place at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park. This year, it will also be virtual event. 

From Amzur, our Tampa office team members will join the event with Rani Nemani, President of Amzur.  You can choose an amount of distance to complete by the end of September this year. Here are some of the perks:

  • 1 mile (receives shirt)
  • 5 miles  (receives shirt and finisher medal)
  • 10 miles (receives shirt, finisher medal, and free Chick-fil-A card)
  • 25 miles (receives shirt, finisher medal, and 3 free Chick-fil-A cards)
  • 50 miles (receives shirt, finisher medal, and 7 free Chick-fil-A cards- plus CFA for a week!)
  • 100 miles (receives shirt, finisher medal, and 30 free Chick-fil-A cards- plus CFA for a month!)

****Each person signs up as an individual. Prizes for the Top 3 runners or raisers!

Distance can be recorded and tracked through Runsignup’s run tracker, RaceJoy.

You have the whole month of September (childhood cancer awareness month) to make your distance goal.

**$100 fund raised counts as 1 miles toward your goal.**

In the past, this event also included a 5K Run, a 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk, a Mascot Race, photo opportunities with the Chick-fil-A cows, and a post-race party in the Family Fun Zone with Chick-fil-A food, games, and prizes.

Chick-fil-A has been a sponsor and partner in this event since its inception in 2012. The Fall Stampede has grown from 800 runners to over 1,500 runners and raised approximately $245,500 in net proceeds.

In the past, this event also included a 5K Run, a 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk, a Mascot Race, photo opportunities with the Chick-fil-A cows, and a post-race party in the Family Fun Zone with Chick-fil-A food, games, and prizes.
